Skream respects intellectual property and responds to valid copyright notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent laws. We also terminate, in appropriate cases, the accounts of repeat infringers.

Important: where the content lives

Skream does not host, store, or broadcast any stream, video, or audio. That content is hosted by YouTube, Twitch, and Kick and delivered through their own players. If your work is being infringed within a stream itself, the fastest and correct route is to report it to the platform hosting that stream — they control the content and can remove it. A notice to us cannot take down content we don’t host.

For material that Skream itself displays — such as a directory listing or something a user submitted to Skream — you can send us a takedown notice as below.

How to file a notice

Email [email protected] with a notice that includes all of the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as the exact URL on Skream) for us to locate it.
• Your name, address, and email so we can contact you.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

An incomplete notice may not be actionable. Knowingly false notices may carry liability.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, email, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
