This policy explains what personal data Skream (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We collect as little as possible and never sell it. For anything here, contact [email protected].

Who we are

Skream is an independent live-stream directory operated from within the EU. For data-protection purposes we act as the data controller for the limited data described below. Contact for privacy matters: [email protected].

What we collect, and why

• Browsing without an account: you can browse and watch without signing up. We do not build a profile of you or track you across the web.
• If you create an account: your email address (accounts are passwordless — we email you a sign-in link), and the preferences you set: the channels you follow and your display/settings. Legal basis: performance of a contract (providing the account features you asked for).
• Essential cookies: a sign-in session cookie (only if you log in) and a language-preference cookie. These are strictly necessary and are covered in the Cookie Policy. Legal basis: legitimate interest / necessity.
• Aggregate analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and sets no cookies and does not fingerprint you; it gives us anonymous, aggregate traffic counts only. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Third parties

• Streaming platforms. When you watch, we embed the official player from YouTube, Twitch, or Kick. Those embeds load from the platform and may set their own cookies under their privacy and cookie policies, over which we have no control. See the Cookie Policy.
• Email delivery. Sign-in and account emails are sent through Resend, purely to deliver the message to you.
• Hosting & security. The site runs on Render and is served through Cloudflare, which process technical request data (such as IP addresses) to serve and protect the site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data. Skream builds two of these right into your account:

• Export — download everything tied to your account at any time.
• Delete — permanently erase your account and its data from your settings.

For any other request, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and removed when you delete it. Unverified sign-ups are cleared automatically after a short period. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data.

Changes

If we add anything that changes what we collect — for example, advertising — we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy before it takes effect.
